Sun Castle – (Gabe Raines) An audio map of an imaginary castle.
Trabajo – (TJ Richards and Yuchen Lin) An electronic duo from Queens NY making elaborate, protean dance music with samples of Indonesian gamelan and other traditional eastern sounds. Their self-released 7″ EP and tape-split for No Kings Record Cadre garnered press features from Pitchfork, Impose Magazine, Dummy Magazine and Tiny Mix Tapes. In 2014 they toured Taiwan and the midwestern US where they played the Goldrush Music Festival in Denver CO. They have a new tape and LP due for release in 2015.
A special collaboration from The Sk Orchestra under the direction of Michael Durek, the on-the-spot production and conceptual genius of Django Voris, and one of New York City’s most iconic avant garde performers Chris Carlone (Borts Minorts). A combination of butoh, found sound, and drone. Alchemy at its finest. The SKO will feature the talents of Jim Tuite, Amber Brien (Pas Musique), Tsubasa Berg, JEM (Symmetry), and more.
