About Kill Screen
Kill Screen is a videogame arts and culture company dedicated to showing the world why games matter. Through their semi-annual print magazine, website, and other affiliated content, they deliver thoughtful content about games and their intersections with the wider world. They have received praise from outlets like GQ, PSFK and Fast Company. The New Yorker called them “TheMcSweeney’s of interactive media,” and TIME wrote that their reviews “are so smart and polished that they might help convince doubters that games are worth taking seriously.” Since their inception in 2009, they have cultivated a passionate audience of culturally-minded readers, and have held events and collaborations with organizations like the MoMA, Rooftop Film Festival, and the New Museum.
