Anna Levikova

Anna Levikova – a Russian artist living and working in Brooklyn. Born and raised in Moscow, she is heavily influenced by the culture, tradition and the spirit of the homeland. Soviet Era, religion, Russian “soul” – are reflected in most of her paintings. Lately, she has been exploring the idea of heaven – angels have become the subject of her work combined with new mediums and technique – from using plaster on canvas to working with feathers.”
