Alana Salguero

Alana Salguero is a Brooklyn-based illustrator and multimedia artist. Her work explores several themes, including the humor and whimsy of altered worlds and the strange beauty of decay. She also draws a lot of animals and makes papier-mâche sculptures.

Alana was recently an artist-in-residence in Gulkistan, Iceland. Her illustrations have appeared in outlets including Guernica, The Rumpus, and Hobart.
