Everything is a detail to the sensitive soul.  When the objects of affection are many, the structure of self-image can bow and break; and with the conscience a kaleidoscope, relationships are fractured reflections.  In the mirror is the haunt of impulse, disguise, and devotion.

I am a product of my relationships.  In an investigation of vanity, fear, and pleasure, my work assumes the forms of iconic structures and emblems from materials that contradict their utility:  Objects used to defend and protect are transparent; images of smoke and clouds form paper chain link fences.  Suspended in the discordance of the physical and the immaterial, my work invokes the porousness of personality and the imaginary confines we construct around our own.
