The Invisible Dog will be the host of the at The Textile Art Center’s Cycle 4 Artist Residency exhibition, featuring work by Kate Parvenski, Mandy Kordal, Lucia Cuba, Eleanor Anderson, Kristin Morrison, and Kelly Valletta.
The Textile Arts Center (TAC) is a NYC-based resource facility dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of textiles through creative educational programs for children and adults. TAC aspires to unify the textile community and advocate for the handmade by providing accessible, skills-based classes that reinvigorate engagement with traditional crafts.
As part of TAC’s mission to provide resources to the larger art community, TAC offers a rigorous Artist Residency program that acts as a platform for professional development. During nine intensive months in their Brooklyn studio, six artists and designers have the opportunity to further develop technical and critical dialogue skills, their business acumen, and ability to effectively engage in a larger creative community.
