From their selection of material and media, to collaborations and conceptual works, The Invisible Dog’s 33 international artists pay homage to the inspiring environment in which they evolve – creating a collective exhibition to unite their diverse skills under one theme. Only 4 years old, The Invisible Dog has already established itself as a pioneer in housing avant-gardist programming and artists. Not only does the Invisible Dog challenge our preconceptions of art and presentation, but it attempts to do so in every possible medium and discipline, as a supportive space for plays, contemporary dance, music, conferences, contemporary art exhibitions and artists of all kinds. The artists share and mix their creative juice to produce a unique flavor of culture. A metaphor for this dynamic community, Hive demonstrates how individuals of such vast talents flourish together.
