Join Emily Johnson / Catalyst for a series of Community Sewing Bees. Emily Johnson/Catalyst is creating a performance called Then a Cunning Voice and a Night We Spend Gazing at Stars. It is an all night, outdoor performance and we are building a series of 84 hand sewn quilts for the audience to sit and lie down on, all night. The quilts are designed by textile artist Maggie Thompson and are being sewn by volunteers across the country.
