The Invisible Dog is looking for interns for Winter/Spring 2025
On any given day, there are many things that an intern at the Invisible Dog may be responsible for. Interns are generally expected to commit to spending 2-4 days, 12-22 hours a week at the gallery, as well as attending and assisting with gallery events. Each day starts with opening up the gallery, sweeping, delivering mail to artists, and assisting the Gallery Manager with maintenance and other additional tasks. Interns are expected to multi-task: there is work to be done while gallery sitting, such as researching incoming artists and doing general organizational work for upcoming installations and performances. Other days, interns will be expected to be more hands-on with tasks ranging from aiding artists with installations and de-installations, to setting up and breaking down events.
If you want to get the first-hand experience and knowledge in running a non-profit gallery, this position is for you!
