Dear Friends,
Happy to see you again.
First a story: after I sent the previous newsletter, I got this email:
"LOOSING? At least spell it correctly.Bill, a reader in Manhattan"
Bill wasn't happy that I wrongly spelled "losing". Fair. But he did not know that I love to receive and answer to emails:
"Doooon't lose your goood moooood for soomething sooo smol.Lucien, a writer from Brooklyn" He emailed me back, gentleman: "I enjoy your column".
Bill, if you still read me, *thank you*, I loove you! Truly.
Two other human being initiatives to love and support this week.
Invisible Dog artist Anne Mourier creates an emergency fund for artists. Named after the essence of her work, the Taking Care Fund will reward artists in need, up to $500. You can apply now or support the fund.
Vallejo Gantner launches Marketable Skills from Professional Artists, a website where artists can sell their skills to people who can and will pay for them. You can register right now!
There are hundreds, thousands of awesome individual initiatives similar to these two. It's impressive to discover ideas and creativity exploding everywhere. It gives "du baume au coeur". Remember that it's good to work out, cook and watch movies, but it's essential to practice your French.
Lucien Chef Ambition Live cooking classes continues: Thursday March 26, we play with Orange Blossom Water and Saturday March 28, we make Lasagna. The list of ingredients is on my Instagram. I can't wait to cook for and with you again.
In French we don't waste our time, we lose it. Let's look after it together!
(my lover just said it doesn't make any sense to say that but Risa always says: your bad grammar makes you real).
Coronarely yours,
Lucien Zayan
Director
